« We had arrived after a long journey and were excited to see the restaurant open so decided to eat there, we were very disappointed to see the menu was whatever the chef decided which unfortunately was a tad pretentious for a campsite. The menu contained the standard burger, pizza, pasta which we have disappointedly come to accept in French restaurants but no “normal” food ie steak, chicken pork dishes. We saw a prawn dish which turned out to be a king prawn covered in batter and then covered in mayonnaise, bbq sauce and mustard! this being one of the specials so an unimpressed menu and meal. »

Allow us to clarify: our chef Alec creates a different menu for lunch and dinner, always based on fresh, local, and seasonal products. The dishes are presented either as carefully prepared tapas to share or as larger meals such as the Gougou Burger or the homemade pizzas crafted by our pizzaiolo Enzo. We are proud to say that our restaurant was elected Yelloh! Resto 2024, a recognition that reflects the work and passion of our team and is a real pride of Le Pré Catalan. We understand that everyone’s tastes and expectations differ, and we regret that the style of our cuisine did not suit yours. « Simply superb. The staff were both kind and friendly, the animation team were fabulous and even in the intensity of a 40 degree plus heatwave, were absolutely full of energy and enthusiasm. Top notch entertainment and the pool was wonderful and well looked after. I felt the takeaway food could have had a little more variety but it was tasty and the restaurant had more choice. A very happy 2 weeks spent there in August 2025 »

« We had a fantastic holiday at Le Pre Catalan. We had booked along with our son with his family, in his caravan, and our daughter and her family staying in a mobile home. We were all located closely together, and near to the pool, reception, bar and restaurant as requested. We found the whole team to be so welcoming and friendly, a proper family run site, as opposed to the many which are now run by companies. We look forward to a return visit. »

« We loved our stay at here. The chalet (Romarin) was lovely - modern, clean, spacious and with AC which was so needed! The site is excellent. Well presented and maintained, lively, and full of atmosphere. The animation team are simply superb - they never seemed to stop and were so positive, friendly and enthusiastic. The shop is well stocked and the bread in the morning is delicious. Staff were all friendly. Pools were also excellent. Clean and well attended. We also loved how proactive staff were at ensuring people weren’t hogging sun beds all day and how people did take their towels when they left IE for lunch. Bar and restaurant also excellent. Can’t recommend this site and the local area highly enough. We will be back! »
